Nutrition of calves during the first years of life or even immediately after calving is of invaluable importance for their future development. First milk, also called colostrum, has a higher content of immunoglobulins and nutrients than regular cow's milk. As a result, calves need more high-quality colostrum immediately after birth.

It is recommended to have a stock of frozen colostrum. This ensures that high-quality first milk is always available. Frozen colostrum can be used when the post-calving colostrum is of poor quality or when the amount of milk is too low.

Our Colostrum Management System products are the best way to help provide your youngest calves with colostrum.

The aluminum bags can be easily filled and pasteurized (optional), frozen and reheated without any problems.

To administer colostrum, simply screw on the artificial teat or probe.
