Stimu Clean udder hygiene paper, for dry use, Kerbl
Stimu Clean udder hygiene paper by Kerbl is a specialist paper towel designed for the professional preparation of cows before the actual milking process. The product is a key element in mastitis prevention, solving the problem of mechanical contamination and the need to stimulate the animal for milk let-down in a safe and hygienic way.
Application
The paper is intended for intensive use on dairy farms:
- dry cleaning of teats before attaching milking units,
- mechanical removal of dirt, bedding, and organic residues,
- initial udder stimulation in cows, heifers, and small ruminants,
- working environment: milking parlors, pipeline milking systems, and tie-stall barns.
Operating principle
Stimu Clean paper works in two ways: it mechanically removes microorganisms and contaminants from the skin surface and, thanks to its embossed structure, provides a gentle teat massage. This massage signals the cow’s body to release oxytocin – the hormone responsible for milk let-down into the teat cistern. Dry cleaning is especially recommended in mastitis prevention to reduce moisture around the teat canal directly before milking.
In practice
- Stimulation effect (Stimu) → the rough paper surface perfectly imitates hand massage, accelerating the pre-milking process and shortening milking time.
- “One cow – one sheet” principle → the disposable nature of the product completely eliminates the risk of cross-contamination between animals, unlike reusable cloths.
- High absorbency and durability → the paper does not tear during intensive rubbing and effectively absorbs moisture and dirt even in difficult barn conditions.
- Eco-friendly material → made from biodegradable fibers, safe for the environment and easy to dispose of after use.
