Calcium and phosphorus deficiency drench, Calz-o-Phos

Complementary feed for dairy cows. Reduces the risk of milk fever and subclinical hypocalcaemia. High level of calcium from easily absorbable calcium sources.

Composition: Dicalcium phosphate, Disodium phosphate.

Analytical constituents: Crude protein 0.5%, Crude fibre 0.3%, Crude fat 1.0%, Crude ash 29.4%, Calcium 8.7%, Sodium 0.4%, Phosphorus 7.0%, Magnesium 0.1%.

Phosphorus 7.00% ≙ 9.10 g/100 ml
Sodium 0.40% ≙ 0.52 g/100 ml

Additives per kg: Preservative: Potassium sorbate (1k202) 1844 mg.

Dosage: Shake before use!
Administer 1 bottle (500 ml) approx. 24 hours before calving and 1 bottle (500 ml) immediately after calving.
If necessary: administer a 3rd bottle (500 ml) 12 hours after calving and, if needed, a 4th bottle (500 ml) 24 hours after calving.

To enrich the ration with calcium and phosphorus after intravenous veterinary calcium infusions:
Administer 1 bottle (500 ml) approx. 8–12 hours after infusion and a 2nd bottle (500 ml) 24 hours after infusion.

Recommended period of use: From the first signs of labour until two days after calving.
Simultaneous use of different organic acids or their salts is contraindicated if at least one of them is used at or close to the maximum permitted level. It is recommended to seek expert nutritional advice before use.

Storage conditions: Store at room temperature. Protect from frost, moisture and direct sunlight.
