- Heating cable designed for protecting water installations in barns and as protection against freezing;
- Effective at temperatures as low as -45°C;
- Integrated thermostat that turns on when the temperature drops below 5°C and turns off at around 13°C;
- Connecting cable length: 2 m;
- Underwater waterproof class IPX7;
- Mechanical strength class M1.
Note:
- Cables must not be used on heating pipes;
- Do not use 230 V heating cables in areas where there is a risk of animal bites;
- Heating cables must not be shortened, so they should be ordered in the correct length;
- The thermostat must not be insulated;
- Always attach the heating cable to the bottom of the pipe;
- The water pipe must be grounded;
- 230 V heating cables are ready to connect and should be connected to a power source with a circuit breaker (30 mA residual current device);
- Excess cable length can be wrapped around the pipe (remember to maintain a minimum distance of 15 mm between coils);
- Do not bend the heating cable, pay attention to the maximum bending radius of about 50 mm;
- Heating cables can be attached to the pipe with insulating or aluminum tape (10-2417);
- When using plastic pipes, wrap aluminum tape (10-2417) around the pipe before laying the heating cable;
- The pipeline and heating cable should be insulated with a maximum insulation of 13 mm;
- The thermostat on the heating cable should be mounted in the coldest place on the pipe.
