Application

How it works

The cable is connected to a 230 V power supply, and the built-in thermostat controls operation depending on the ambient temperature. When the temperature drops to about +3 °C, heating is activated, and after rising to about +13 °C, it switches off. This means the cable heats the pipe only when needed. In practice, it helps maintain water flow during frosts and reduces the risk of installations freezing. The cable should not be shortened.

The 12 m length provides greater flexibility in protecting multiple sections or longer parts of the installation. The automatic thermostat operation simplifies use, as the system responds on its own to drops and increases in temperature. This is especially important where the installation must operate throughout the winter without constant user supervision. The IPX7 protection rating and 230 V power supply make it a practical component for constant frost protection of installations. An extra 2 m connection cable makes it easier to connect to the power source.
