Application

Operating principle

The cable is connected to a 230 V power source, and the built-in thermostat controls the operation based on ambient temperature. When the temperature drops to around +3 °C, the heating turns on, and when it rises to about +13 °C, it switches off. This ensures the cable heats the pipe only when needed. In practice, it helps maintain water flow during frosts and limits the risk of pipes freezing. The cable should not be shortened.

The short, 2 m length allows the cable to be used where there is no room for a longer heating segment. The automatic thermostat operation simplifies use because the system reacts on its own to temperature drops and increases. This is particularly important where the installation must function throughout the winter without constant supervision.
