Application

Principle of operation

The cable is connected to a 230 V power supply, and the built-in thermostat controls operation depending on the ambient temperature. When the temperature drops to about +3 °C, heating turns on, and when it rises to about +13 °C, heating turns off. As a result, the wire heats the pipe only when necessary. In practice, it helps maintain water flow during frost periods and reduces the risk of installations freezing. The cable must not be shortened.

The 4 m length provides more flexibility for protecting several sections or a longer installation fragment. Automatic thermostat operation simplifies use, as the system responds by itself to temperature fluctuations. This is especially important where the installation must operate throughout winter without constant user supervision. The IPX7 protection degree and 230 V power supply make it a practical, permanent element for protecting installations from frost. The additional 2 m power cord makes it easier to connect to the power source.
