Kerbl 40 mm tattoo letters are oversized identification characters designed for the permanent marking of large livestock. They are used to create highly visible alphanumeric markings that can be read from a considerable distance, solving the challenge of identifying individual animals in large herds or on extensive pastures.

Application

Due to their 40 mm height, these letters are intended exclusively for large animals with thick skin. They are commonly used for:

How It Works

Each letter features a dense array of sharp, hardened steel needles arranged in the shape of the selected character. When struck with a hammer-driven tattoo tool or applied using a high-pressure tattoo plier, the needles penetrate the animal's skin. The resulting pattern is immediately filled with tattoo ink or paste, which penetrates the deeper layers of the skin to create a permanent, lifelong identification mark.
