Application

This drinker is intended for daily watering of animals where standard drinkers may freeze or require frequent maintenance. Thanks to its heating function, it can be used in livestock buildings with access to electricity. It is ideal wherever stable water supply throughout the winter is crucial. It can be installed in systems with a heating circuit, as well as for wall or pipe mounting.

Operating principle

The device features a built-in heating cable and a frost protection thermostat, which activates the heating at approximately +3 °C and turns it off at around +13 °C. The heating cable warms both the water bowl and the water pipe up to 2 metres in length. The 1/2" water connection can be fitted on either the right or left side, and the drain hole makes cleaning easier.

In practice

Daily use benefits from the 5 l capacity and flow rate of approx. 6.5 l/min at 2–3 bar, as these affect fill speed and animal watering comfort. The drinker suits systems with water circulation. For 24 V drinkers, a transformer is required and must be purchased separately. The plastic construction makes this drinker practical for farm conditions.
