The Technovit-2-Bond® cartridge is a professional two-component polyurethane adhesive designed for hoof treatment and corrective hoof care in cattle. It forms the core of a modern orthopedic hoof care system, enabling the rapid bonding of wooden or rubber hoof blocks. The product significantly reduces the time the animal must remain restrained, allowing hoof treatment procedures to be completed quickly and efficiently.

Application

The adhesive is used by professional hoof trimmers and veterinarians to treat lameness in both dairy and beef cattle. It is applied to the healthy claw to attach a hoof block, which transfers the animal's weight away from the injured claw, allowing it to heal. The system is specifically designed for demanding barn conditions, where fast curing and reliable adhesion are essential.

How It Works

The two-component polyurethane formula is automatically mixed inside the mixing nozzle during application. The adhesive provides exceptionally strong bonding to the hoof horn as well as to wooden and rubber hoof blocks. The specially designed cartridge allows stable dispensing at 45° and 90° angles, making precise application easier even in confined working conditions.
