Which transformer should be used? If, for example, you want to power an 80 W water bowl, a 100 W transformer is sufficient. If you also want to connect a 24 V heating cable, simply add the current consumption (= power) of the cable. When selecting a transformer, allow for a power reserve of 15% (factor 1.15).
