Non-freezing waterers for cattle and horses from the German company Kerbl are made of high-quality polyethylene. They are widely used in free-stall barns and pastures. The waterers work similarly to a thermos. Double walls insulated with polyurethane foam effectively protect water from freezing at temperatures down to -30°C. In the summer, when the temperature rises significantly, the waterer maintains the water temperature at 10 - 12°C. The balls in the waterers serve to protect and secure the water from contamination.
