BT earplugs by Kerbl Works are professional personal protective equipment (PPE) designed for passive noise reduction in working environments. The product solves the problem of long-term exposure to high-intensity noise, which can lead to irreversible hearing damage, while ensuring high wearing comfort thanks to the use of thermoplastic materials.

Principle of operation

The BT series earplugs work as a mechanical acoustic barrier. Made from slow-recovery foam, after compression and insertion into the ear canal, they adapt perfectly to its anatomical shape. Thanks to the high-density material, the earplugs effectively reduce sound waves, especially in the high-frequency range, which is the most harmful to human hearing.

In practice

• High attenuation level (SNR) → the BT earplug design provides optimal noise reduction (typically approx. 34–37 dB), enabling safe work near heavy machinery.
• Ergonomic shape → the conical design makes insertion easier and prevents the earplug from falling out during jaw movement or conversation.
